Nylatech® Nythane is a chemically formulated copolymer designed to deliver the high tensile and compressive properties of cast nylon, with the impact and wear resistance of polyurethane.
Offered in 3 specific grades, Nylatech® Nythane is a reliable material proven to handle the most demanding and extreme industrial applications. Nylatech® Nythane is custom formulated in one of three grades (Natural, Oil, and SL) to meet specific performance requirements across a range of demanding applications.
Nylatech® Nythane Grades
Unfilled
Exceedingly high impact resistance and tensile properties.
For use in environments with shock, abrasion, vibration, impact, and moisture absorption.
Oil
Contains liquid lubricant for excellent surface lubricity.
For use in environments with high wear, increased abrasion, and where moisture is a concern.
SL
Combines the high impact resistance of the Nythane copolymer with the wear resistance of Nylatech® SL.
For use in industrial applications with extreme wear and abrasion.
